Environmental Services Director

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing and providing the direction for the Environmental Services Department and administering personnel, property, and fiscal resources of the Environmental Services Department. The EVS Director also oversees a variety of housekeeping/custodial duties to ensure a clean, sanitary, pleasant environment essential for quality care of patients, visitors, and staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree, preferred; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Two (2) years’ experience in a managerial position. Two (2) to three (3) years housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of how to use cleaning chemicals and operate equipment including buffers, wet and dry vacuums, and basic knowledge of housekeeping techniques. Washington State driver’s license required. Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.

F-Time; 40 hrs/wk
